Back in Blogland...

Good Evening everyone

I can't believe how long it has been since I last posted. I have been having lots of problems with my laptop over the last few months. It seemed to begin with me not being able to open any PDF files and from there on it just became worse and worse until finally it just died on me. I met a very nice man in our local computer shop who has worked miracles and now I am finally able to access Blogland again.

Here is my card for today:

This card has been made using one of the pre-stamped images available from LOTV They come in a little sketch pad and are ideal for colouring with copic pens. The good news is that the images of the Vintage Boys will soon be available as a stamp. Visit their website to find more details.

Good evening everyone

What a busy weekend. Gardening, visiting Lyme Regis, Washing, Ironing and spending ages watching a  box set of 'The Event'. There just aren't enough hours in a weekend!

I did manage to make a card though.

I am not sure where this image is from (if anyone can let me know then i can give it a name) but I have coloured this poorly bear with my copics pens and then layered it on patterned papers and cards from my stash.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Simply Create Too - Animals - 11.4.13
Pink Gem - Cute - 12.4.13

enjoy the rest of your weekend

Good evening Everyone
Thank Goodness Its Friday.....
Even though it has been a short week it seems to have gone very slow and I am sooooo looking forward to my lay-in tomorrow morning.
Here is todays card;
I have used a magnolia 'Sleeping Tilda' image and coloured her using my copics pens. Her wings have been decorated with fairy dust. All of the patterned papers, cards and flowers have come from my stash. Green fronds have been punched using a very old paper punch (without a name on it) and it has been finished off with tiny pearls and a pink bow.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Girly - 6.4.13
Paula Holifield crafts - Anything Goes - 27.4.13
Pin and Tack (spark your creativity) - anything goes - 30.4.13
Live and Love crafts - bingo (Pink, designer papers, pearls) - 30.4.13

Good evening everyone

I hope that you have had a great easter and that the easter bunny bought you lots of choccies.

We had some very welcome visitors over the weekend. Gary, my eldest son, brought his wife and children to visit. Eva is learning to crawl at the moment. She is able to assume the position but hasn't quite got the method right. It looks like she is doing press-ups. Bless, she is so cute.

We decided to take the whole family to Lyme Regis, so that the girls could go fossil hunting. I cant believe just how cold it was, but there is nothing like eating chips on the sea front whilst wrapped up in hats, scarves and gloves.

I can't believe that it's snowing yet again. We have had a few days of sunny (but bitter) weather and then this morning I opened the curtains to reveal snow flurries. This has continued on and off throughout the day but there has not been enough to settle.

Here is today's card:

I have used a 'free' stamp that came attached to the front of a magazine and stamped it onto white card that i have 'aged' with a very old and dry ink pad. The image has been mounted on several layers of patterned paper and card from my stash. Cogs are die cuts and the sentiment is from Craftwork Cards. I finished the card with blue brads.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Papertake Weekly Challenge - Anything Goes - 8.4.13
Southern girls Challenge - Stripes - 18.4.13
Simon Says - Anything Goes - 9.4.13
Natalie and Amy - monochrome - 28.4.13
Pin and Tack (Spark your Creativity) - Anything Goes - 30.4.13
Stamp and Create - At least 1 die cut (cogs) - 5.5.13
Paula Holifield - Anything Goes - 27.4.13

have a good evening
